The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) scheme provides upfront discounts on eligible reverse-cycle air conditioning installations. Rebates range from $200–$500 for split system replacements up to $8,000 for replacing a gas ducted heater with a ducted reverse-cycle system.
Do I need to have a gas heater to access the VEU rebate?
The largest rebates are available when replacing an existing gas heater — ducted or wall-mounted. Rebates for replacing old split systems or new installations are also available but generally lower. We assess your existing system during your free consultation.
What is the difference between a ducted and a multi-split system?
A ducted system heats and cools your entire home through a central unit connected to ceiling vents — ideal for whole-home coverage. A multi-split system uses one outdoor unit connected to multiple indoor heads, giving you targeted zone control for the rooms you use most.
